Overseas Pakistanis remitted a record $41.6 billion during FY26 (July–June), marking a 9% increase from $38.3 billion in FY25, despite the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) decision to discontinue remittance incentive schemes.
According to SBP data released on Thursday, workers’ remittances totaled $3.475 billion in June. On a monthly basis, inflows declined by 18%, while they registered a 2% increase compared to the same month last year.
